The City of Columbus is continuing its Zone In initiative to modernize the city's 70 year old zoning code and we want to hear from you!

A draft citywide land use policy and map has been released to guide the next phase of the zoning code update. This draft focuses on: 


* Mixed-use districts
* Industrial and warehouse areas
* Business and institutional campuses

These are places where housing, jobs, and amenities can grow side by side - strengthening neighborhoods and expanding opportunity across Columbus. 

Through November 9, residents can review our proposed land use policy and  land use map to share feedback on both.

The draft citywide land use policy reflects our engagement with the community over the summer, including survey responses, workshops, pop-up events, and engagement with stakeholders and key community partners and organizations. 

As part of Zone In, Columbus' initiative to modernize its 70 year-old zoning code, this framework defines where and how growth should occur, creating the foundation for continued zoning reforms.
