Heat and increasing energy costs are making headlines, but our sustainability programs are here to help. Through Switch Together [ https://switchtogether.com/en/solar/columbus/home?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ], Columbus residents join a group-buying program that makes going solar easier and more affordable. By switching together we lower costs, cut pollution, and build a brighter future - one roof at a time. Over 1,000 residents joined this year’s program! Not quite ready to go solar at home? Our Clean Energy Columbus [ https://cleanenergycolumbus.org/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] aggregation program can help and might be a better fit for you. This program provides 100% clean energy and is saving residents an average of $10 a month on bills compared to the utility. There is no cost to join or leave the program at any time. Over 200,000 households in Columbus participate in the program, and participants have saved over $60 million since the program began!

*About Me: *As the Climate Planning Program Manager, I spend my days thinking about ways that we can keep our communities healthy, safe, and vibrant while Columbus continues to grow. I collaborate across the city to find ways to protect people from the increasing floods, heat, and droughts that we are all experiencing. I also work with other city staff to build quality of life for our communities while also contributing less to climate change to preserve our way of life.
When I’m not in the office, you might find me climbing up cliff faces in Ohio and beyond! I fell in love with rock climbing a few years ago and enjoy getting outside with my friends and kids.
