Interested in solar energy? The _Switch Together program [ https://switchtogether.com/en/solar/columbus?utm_campaign=link&utm_content=columbus&utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]_ can help you go solar, and it is now accepting new participants! The Switch Together program is a group buying initiative. It allows you to buy a rooftop solar installation at a significant discount with optional electric vehicle chargers and battery storage. In collaboration with national nonprofit Solar United Neighbors, the program guarantees high-quality solar installations for homeowners and small businesses.

Switch Together is free to join. There’s no requirement to make a purchase.

By registering for Switch Together, you'll receive an installation proposal from pre-qualified installers. Switch Together uses group buying to secure a competitive price for your solar installation through a reverse auction process. In a reverse auction, solar installers compete to offer their lowest price for a rooftop installation, and homeowners choose the best bid that meets their needs. The current program is expected to save the average household *$6,735 *on a typical-sized solar installation. The 30% federal tax credit can further reduce your costs, making solar energy more accessible than ever before.

Registration is free and there's no obligation to proceed with a solar installation, ensuring a safe and easy way for Columbus residents to participate in the program.
